Rain, Rain Go Away!

Another rainy spring day. It seems like that’s all it does anymore. I can’t wait for spring to move in. These rainy days leave me feeling so sad and gloomy, but I know we need this rain so spring flowers can sprout and start to bloom. The trees will start to bud and this whole town will cheer up! There is nothing better than a warm spring day with the sun shining, a nice breeze, and no clouds in the sky. Hurry up spring we need you!

I haven’t left this driveway all weekend and I know it’s the rains fault. No one wants to go anywhere when they get soaked and have to avoid puddles. I, personally, love puddles. I love to drive through them in wellesley and make a huge splash. Sometimes it goes all the way over to the other side of the road! It’s even landed on other cars! I just smile and keep my lights peeled for the next one.

It’s been raining here for 3 days so we are at the point of flooding. I’ve lived at this house for the past couple years and haven’t seen rain like this. Roads are closed down, there are detours everywhere, and I have to take 3 back roads just to get home! I don’t know how long Ben and Judy have lived here, but they purchased me 2 years ago. I’m their wellesley toyota corolla. I am real lucky to have young, fun owners. I am an S model so I love to drive along the beach on sunny days and have great handling for the rain, too. I think I am a very well rounded everything kind of car. I do pretty well most anywhere in any conditions. That is great for this new england weather. I couldn’t have ended up in a better place!
